Micheal Bates

BATES, MICHEAL "MIKE" - Beloved husband of 37 years to Patti Bates (nee Blinkhorn); Brother of Tim (Dawn) Bates and Donna (Frank) Walsh; Step brother of Sheri Moyer; Brother-in-law of Dennis Blinkhorn, Cheryl Thomas, Keith (Stephanie Zinsmeister) Blinkhorn, and Lisa (David) Dennis; Uncle of April (Greg) McDermitt, Alex (Ashlee) Bates, Erin (Mark) Brooks, and many great nieces and great nephews. Mike adored his cats; He left behind many fur babies and rescued felines over the years.

Mike spent many years in the mortgage loan industry before retiring from 5/3rd Bank.

Mike loved the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing Euchre and Poker.

Mike passed away quietly in his sleep Thursday April 4, 2024, at the age of 69 years. He was a resident of Goshen, Ohio.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date.
