Mildred "Millie" E. Reeve

Mildred "Millie" E. Reeve, a remarkable woman whose bright spirit touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on March 3, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mildred will be fondly remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her sharp wit, and her love for life.

Growing up in Cincinnati, Mildred earned her high school diploma and went on to have a successful career as an accountant with Clermont County Water & Sewer, where her remarkable attention to detail and keen intellect were invaluable. Even in her later years, she retained her sharpness, engaging in puzzles and crosswords, activities that brought her immense joy.

Mildred was a cherished member of her community, finding solace, friendship, and joy within the congregation of Heartland Christian Church. Her faith and love for her church family were a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort.

She delighted in the company of her family, especially her daughter, Gail (Mike) Clark, and her grandchildren, Christy (Todd) and Michael W. (Heather), and numerous great-grandchildren: Scott, Jake, Shawn, Evan, Abigail H., Cody, Justice, AvaGrace, Adellyn, Zane, Zeke, Abigail M., and David. Her great great grandchildren Elizabeth, Gwen, Brielle, and Bennette. Their laughter and love filled her heart with happiness, and she cherished every moment spent together, creating memories that will be warmly remembered.

Mildred’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service on May 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen. The visitation will take place earlier that day, starting at 9:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens, where friends and family will gather to honor her legacy and bid her farewell.

As we reflect on Mildred's life, we remember a woman who exemplified kindness, intelligence, and unwavering love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, serving as a reminder of the joy she brought into the world.

Mildred was preceded in death by: parents Charles & Martha Stephens, son Roger Reeve, and her husband of 49 years Lloyd Reeve.
