Namer J. "Chip" Gorra of New Richmond, OH, aged 66, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2021, surrounded by his family after fighting the good fight through a long string of illnesses.

Chip was born December 22, 1954 in New London, CT. He studied Communications at Boston University and went on to work in the technology sales and broadcasting industries, most recently for Valley Communications in Chicopee, MA. He retired in 2014 and soon after moved to OH to be closer to family.

Chip is survived by his wife, Linda (née Quick), children: Elisabeth and Donald Gorra, Sisters: Pattie Bondurant (Robert W. Schutte) and Susan Gorra-Heinneman, and father: Joseph N. Gorra. As a lover of children he would also want to acknowledge his many nieces, nephews, and surrogate grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held in Southeastern CT at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to: americaspackardmuseum.com to honor one of Chip's greatest passions: American automotive engineering.
