Nancy Lee Hasselbeck age 87, of Madeira, passed away surrounded by her family at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1933 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Elmer C. and Elizabeth C. (nee Wittrock) Jaspers. Nancy was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and worked in the billing department for a local Doctor's office. She was active at St. Gertrude Church with the Ladies of Charity and volunteered her time to the Maderia Womans Club. Nancy was a devoted wife and loved playing cards and sharing a highball with her husband and dear friends over the years. Her love for her family was what she cherished most. She was a loving and supportive mom and a fun loving grandmother. Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death in 2015 as did her siblings Guy, Dick and Mary Carol. She is survived by her children and spouses; Linda & Rick Thompson, David & Mary Lou, John & Lisa, Stephen and Joanna Hasselbeck, grandchildren Mike (Jeannett), Katie (Josh), Brian (Brittany), Mark (Scarlett), Eric, Ryan, Nicole (Brad), Jacob, and her 8 great grandchildren along with her 2 more due in March and April 2021, and her sister; Sister Beth Jaspers. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the St. Gertrude Church 6543 Miami Ave., Madeira 45243 Reverend Clement Dickie O.P. will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Montgomery Rd. Her family graciously asks that memorials be made to Grace Hospice, 4850 Smith Rd. Suite 100C, Cincinnati, OH 45212 in appreciation for their professional and loving care of mom.
