McBurney, Nancy C. - Age 90 years of Milford, Ohio , formerly of Rochester, New York, passed away Monday March 25, 2024; Beloved wife of 68 years to the late William G. "Bill" McBurney; Devoted mother of Ronald " Ron" McBurney of Hebron, Kentucky; Nancy was born February 2, 1934, in Fort Miller, New York the daughter of the late Erwin Barnes and Winiford Gilman Barnes; Dear sister of the late Charles (the late Mizza) Barnes, William (Joan) Barnes of Granville, New York, Sherry (George) Fosmire of Argyle, New York, Barbara (Marty) Wright of Hudson Falls, New York, Sandy (Bob) Andrews of Granville, New York, Jackie (Rusty) Ross of Gansevoort, New York, Donald Barnes of Greenwich, New York, and Terry (Denise) Barnes of Hudson, Kentucky, Nancy will be missed by many nieces and nephews and very dear friends.

In Nancy's spare time she loved gardening not only flowers but also a vegetable garden. The garden consisted of hollyhocks and peonies. After a hard day of gardening to relax she would be found reading, with hard cardy by her side and for a treat she would like sourdough bread with real butter on it. Nancy did like some television shows like Gunsmoke and more recent Naked and Afraid.

Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 Friday March 29, 2024, from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM.
