Nancy Ruth Womick

Nancy R. Womick, 83, passed away early Wednesday morning August 23rd at Brookwood Retirement Center in Cincinnati, OH. She was the wife of Jerald E. Womick. They shared 60 years of marriage together.

Born in Wyandotte, MI she was the daughter of Alvin and Hazel Basse most notably from Jonesboro, IL. She graduated the Anna - Jonesboro Community High School in Southern Illinois. She was a homemaker and full time mother.

She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Huber Heights, OH, the First Baptist Church in Johnstown, OH and most recently the First Baptist Church of Milford, OH. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She loved playing the piano for the childrens Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was kind and loving to all.

She is survived by her husband Jerald E Womick, sons Richard B. Womick and Michael B. Womick, grandchildren Joshua Womick, Jessica Womick, Kayla Smith, Joseph Womick, Abby Womick, Mitchell Womick and Johah Womick. She was predeceased by her brother Jim Basse.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28th at the First Baptist Church of Milford 1367 Woodville Pike Milford, OH 45150 with interment at the Graceland Memorial Gardens 5989 Deerfield Rd. Milford, OH 45150.
The viewing and visitation will be held from 10:30am to 11:30am at which time the funeral service will begin.
