Nannette Smallwood

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nannette L. Smallwood on December 16, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on August 3, 1959, to the late Melvin and Mary (Lee Jackson) Paige.

Nannette was profoundly family-oriented, finding joy and purpose in the time spent with her grandchildren. Her sweet, loving, and reserved nature made her a cherished presence in their lives, and her thoughtfulness and unwavering optimism allowed her to see the good in every situation. Her passions included gardening and scrapbooking, pursuits that allowed her to express her creativity and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Nannette is survived by her loving children Eric Smallwood, Christopher (Sara) Smallwood, Jeremy (Lauren) Smallwood, and the father of her children Curtis Smallwood. Dear grandmother of Quinlyn Smallwood, Kaylee Smallwood, August Smallwood, Linus Smallwood, and Kiera Smallwood; Great-grandmother of Paisley. Cherished sister of Dale Jackson, Debbie Pendell, and the late Theresa Paige. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services in memory of Nannette will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the indelible impact she made on those around her.
