Neal Sherwood Komo

Neal Sherwood Komo of Milford, Ohio passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 85 years. Neal was preceded in death by his father, Mark Komo and his mother, Georgia Komo (nee Carter); brothers, Lawton, Donald, and Nick Komo; sister, Faye; and stepson Jerry Hauck. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; his two daughters, Katheryn Komo and Amy (Fred) Heis; grandchildren, Kalei, Noah, Grace, and Paxton; sister, Iris Duke.

Neal leaves behind so many friends and additional family members who remember his love for music, his kindness, and his humor. Neal sang in the choir at First Baptist Church in Milford and was the song leader in the Adult Bible Class. He sang specials during church services with his wife Virginia and was always known to pick up a guitar and sing at family functions. He was dearly loved by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Milford 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, Ohio 45150, on Saturday September 25, 2021, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association 644 Linn Street #1026 Cincinnati, OH 45203.
