Nellie M. Isaacs

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Nellie "Betty" Isaacs who departed this life to be with her Savior on March 22, 2025 at the age of 86

Born on October 16, 1938 in McCreary County, KY to the late John and Esther (nee Foster) Hill.

Nellie, known as Betty to family and close friends, lived a life rich in love and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Kenneth R. Isaacs; Loving mother of Denise Bosch, Vickey Hunt, Peggy (David) Jenny, Tammy (Kevin) Godsey, Ivy (Steve) Bader, Wayne (Kim) Isaacs, Deanna Isaacs, and Mark Isaacs.

Grandmother of Jeremy, Keith, Jason, Tami Marie, Melinda, Stephen, Holly, Jared, Eric, Andy, Justin, Zach, Ben, Kayla, Kyle, and Karla.

Great-Grandmother of 33 and blessed to have one Great-great grandson.

Dear sister of Tresia Wallace.

Preceded in death by her late husband, parents, two daughters, one grandson and siblings Bill Hill, Porter Hill, Lena Hill, Josie Osborn, Cliff Hill, Chris Earls, and Bob Hill.

Nellie was a woman of strong faith in God and a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Milford, where she sang joyfully in the choir for many years. Her strong faith in God shaped her life and she encouraged everyone around her to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Nellie found joy in oil painting, bird watching, and playing with her two Yorkie Poo dogs. Her creativity and appreciation for nature were evident in her paintings and love for all animals.

She cherished quality time with her family, and especially enjoyed Christmas parties and summer picnics with them.

Her goofy sense of humor, playful ways, singing in the car, and unconditional love will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home at the Milford location.

Memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
