Nicholas Stephen Bond

Nicholas Stephen Bond, age 41, of Milford, Ohio passed away on March 4, 2024 from a non-line of duty event.

Nicholas, cherished son of Stephen and Karen (Lewis) Bond was born on October 10, 1982 in Mariemont, Ohio. He graduated from Milford High School in 2001 and became a graduate of Sinclair College.

His most important degree was earned in 2010 from the Bethesda North Paramedic Program. He earned his National Registry and maintained it to this day. He worked for several private companies along with Mercy Health and TriHealth. Nick became a member of the Terrace Park EMS in 2005, an all volunteer life squad. Nick was a most compassionate caregiver, he loved his work and his patients. He was born to take care of others.

Nick also worked for the Kroger Company in the pharmacy department at the Milford store as a licensed pharmacy technician. He worked in the store for several years then moved to the corporate office to continue working as a trainer in the pharmacy division. He truly loved his coworkers and was proud to say he worked at Kroger.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernie Lewis and Ernest and Edna Bond. He is survived by his parents, his girlfriend Loni McLean, her children Zane and Athena, his grandmother Donna Lewis, aunts Karen Moore and Richilee Groves and several cousins.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Thursday, March 14th from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday beginning at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Nick wanted people to dress in bright colors and come to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Terrace Park Emergency Medical Services, 428 Elm Avenue, Terrace Park, Ohio 45174 Attn: Chief John Maggard; a group dear to Nick's heart.
