**Obituary for Nicholas Andrew Hodges**
Nicholas Andrew Hodges, born on October 29, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2026, while living in Milford, Ohio. Nick, as he was lovingly known, was a dedicated well drilling supervisor in the oil industry, traveling far and wide to the oil fields of Louisiana and Texas. However, no distance kept him from the joys closest to his heart.
Nick had an adventurous spirit and a passion for life that resonated with those around him. He found serenity while fishing at Kentucky Lake, where he embraced the calm of nature. He also took joy in working on cars, often spending weekends fine-tuning engines and sharing laughs with friends and family. Those who knew him will fondly remember his friendly demeanor and infectious smile that could light up any room.
Nick was a devoted father to his daughters, Robin, Emma, and Mackenzie, and he cherished every second he spent with them. He leaves behind not only his girls but also his loving parents, Kenneth and Angela Hodges; his beloved grandmother, Juanita Jacobs; his sister, Heather Hodges, mother of Mackenzie who was his wife for a decade; Samantha Hodges, and a life long loving friend; Carole Banks. The bond of family was a cornerstone of his life.
A funeral service in celebration of Nick's life will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on February 28, 2026, at 1:30 PM, following a visitation that will begin at 12:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and remember the vibrant spirit of Nick Hodges. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Batavia Union Cemetery, 491 Cemetery Lane in Batavia, Ohio.
As we bid farewell to a loving father, a dedicated worker, and a true friend, let us hold onto the memories of laughter, love, and adventure that Nick brought into our lives. May he rest in peace, forever remembered in our hearts.
Nicholas was preceded in death by grandparents: William Jacobs, Clarence Hodges, Lois Hodges
