Nile Junior Hayes

Nile J. Hayes, affectionately called, “Junior”, passed into his heavenly home on January 10, 2024, just three weeks before his 80th birthday. Nile was preceded in death and cherished by his parents Nile and Helen (ne Garrison) Hayes Sr. He will be greatly missed by many cousins, friends, and his fellow believers at River Hills Christian Church.

One of his cousins, Joyce, stated “Nile lived a simple life, but had a brilliant mind for music”. Nile’s family previously owned the Millcroft Inn, and Nile played in many bands throughout the area. He earned a Masters in Music from Ohio State University and was a gifted musician, and teacher. Most importantly, Nile came into a life changing relationship with his Lord, Jesus Christ, and will rest in his savior’s arms.

Visitation 10 – 11 AM Tuesday January 16, 2024 with funeral at 11 AM. All at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center St. Milford, Ohio. Burial to follow at Hopkinsville Cemetery.
