Nina Fessel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on March 24, 1935, in McKee, Kentucky, Nina spent a lifetime nurturing those she loved and creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. She resided in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she built a life full of cherished memories alongside her devoted husband, Ronald Fessel.

Nina's greatest joy came from her family, who she loved fiercely. She and Ron, married on January 17, 1957, at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church, celebrated an incredible 67 years together, filled with adventures, unwavering support, and love. Together, they created a beautiful home where Nina hosted many joyful gatherings, especially around the pool, delighting family and friends alike with abundant homemade food and drink.

Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Nina wore her high heels with confidence into her 80s and had a fondness for the color red that matched her vibrant spirit. Her love of travel took her and Ron to exciting worldwide destinations and frequent visits to Vero Beach, Florida and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where they made lasting memories.

Nina had a passion for plants and flowers, to such a degree, she could name anything you presented her. She approached life with a zest for enjoyment, often visiting casinos and organizing lively celebrations that radiated her love for life.

Nina is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; her daughter Tammy (Patrick) Moran; her son Marc (Lisa) Fessel; grandkids Casey (Brendan) Moran, Kody (Allyson) Moran, Kyle (Hadley) Moran, Nicole (Jon) Fessel, and Zach Fessel; her great-granddaughter Hailey Fessel; her brother-in-law Anthony (Beverly) Fessel, Adeline Robinson, their families, and her fur baby Jazzy. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, joy, and togetherness. Nina was preceded in death by: her parents Stanley & Sarah Harrison, siblings Elmer (Kathy) Harrison, Mildred (Curtis) Barger, Estie Bumgardner, and Lillian Harrison.

Nina's visitation is on Tuesday August 18th, 2026 from 2:30PM to 4:00PM with a memorial service at 4:00PM at the Evans Funeral Home, Milford. They invite all to join them in remembering her, celebrating her spirit, and sharing stories that exemplify her love and warmth.

She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. The love she shared will forever echo in the laughter of family and friend gatherings. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared with others.
