Nita Jean Kidder

Nita J. Kidder was born on July 20, 1936, in Point Pleasant, OH, to the late Ollie S. and Iva (nee Manning) Thacker. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Ann) Kidder, Lisa (Alex) Habeeb, Luan (Jon) Souders, Philip (Apple) Kidder, Gaylle (Jason Barber) Nace, Susan Foebar, Michael (Caroline) Kidder, and the late Paula Kidder; Cherished grandmother of 23, great-grandmother of 21, and great-great-grandmother of 5; Sister to Gladys Pride. Along with her parents, Nita is preceded in death by her siblings Lillian Miller, Calvin Thacker, Alma Jones, and Philip Thacker.

Nita dedicated her life to her family and found the greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones. Family was the center of her world, and she cherished each moment with her children and grandchildren.

Nita passed away March 4, 2024, at the age of 87. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM at Plainview Cemetery - 6000 OH-727, Goshen, OH 45122. Reception to follow 2 PM at Mt.Orab Church of Christ -400 Smith Ave. Mt.Orab, Ohio.
