NOTICE CHANGE OF ARRANGEMENTS

The family is saddened to announce the death of Norma's beloved husband, Terry Rose this evening.
The service for Norma will be delayed until Monday Aug. 23, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home in Goshen. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Norma Jean Rose, age 65 of Blanchester, went to be with the Lord on Monday Aug 16, 2021 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born December 6, 1955 in Hocking County, Ohio. the daughter of Jack C. and Etta Belle (nee Pinkstock) Hartshorn. Norma was a graduate of Logan Elm High School. On January 19, 1974 she married Rev. Terry Rose Sr. and over the years become a Pastor's wife and secretary of the Full Gospel Christian Assembly outside of Blanchester. Norma had the kindest heart and a smile for everyone she met. She loved her family and each member of her church family with all her heart. Along with her husband, Terry, she is survived by her father, Jack Hartshorn, her children and spouses; Rev. Terry & Bonnie Rose Jr., Trina and Kasey Penny, grandchildren; Lindsay Rose (Matthew Combs), Nathaniel Wilson (Bridget McGuire) Hayley Wilson (Hunter Bare) Shelbie Rose, Kandace Penny (Justin Lucas), siblings and spouses; Kathy and Dave Miller, Tom and Brenda Hartshorn, Marilyn and Bill Westfall, Lenny and Amber Hartshorn, Joann and Gary Rose, Rodney Hartshorn & Kacey Ardrey, Mary and David Porter, half brother; Chester Hartshorn, great granddaughter; Mariah Lucas. Coming from a large family of children there are numerous nieces and nephews who will greatly miss Norma. She was preceded in death by her mother; Etta Belle, a granddaughter, Paisley Nicole Lucas, and siblings; Randy Hartshorn, Tina Brown, John Hartshorn. Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday August 23, 2021, at the Evans funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen Ohio 45122. A Memorial Service at The Full Gospel Christian Assembly is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers her family requests memorials be made to the church, in their honor, c/o 314 E. Baldwin St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107.
