Norman Allen

Norman Allen, of Goshen, OH, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 8, 1953, Norman was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Allen, as well as children Christopher Allen, Cari (Ronnie) Cupp and Carla (Jaysen) King, grandchildren Christian, Lexie, Jeremy, Jacob, Chance, Adam and Haylee Allen, Trenton and Cade Cupp, and siblings Dorothy (Fred) Williams, Jim Allen, Leon W. (Angela) Allen Jr., Doralean Allen, and Lenard "Mike" Allen who will carry forward the warmth of his spirit. Norman is preceded in death by his parents Leon W. and Hetty Allen, and his siblings Kenneth Allen, Hetty Faye Helton, Marshall "Doug" Allen and Clarence Allen.

Norman was a man who truly loved life and the people in it. His passion for family was unmatched, and he found joy in every gathering, from laughter-filled cookouts to sharing stories at his family Christmas gatherings. A natural comedian, he had a remarkable gift for teasing those he loved, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake.

In his free time, Norman enjoyed the serenity of nature, often indulging in hunting and fishing expeditions. He found peace mowing the lawn, turning an everyday task into a cherished ritual. His love for animals further showcased his nurturing spirit, and he always made time to help friends and family with building projects and repairs around their homes.

Norman was particularly fond of car restoration, pouring his heart into reviving old classics. Each project was not just about the mechanics but about connection-connecting with his past, his family, and the thrill of creation.

He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him, but his legacy of laughter, love, and support will continue to resonate in our hearts.
