**June 20, 1956 - August 2, 2024**

Pamela Laverne (Riley) Carney, born on June 20, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Howard and Shirley Riley, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in the care of hospice.

Pam was a graduate of Clermont Northeastern High School, class of 1974. She was a devoted wife and mother, sharing her life with her beloved husband, John J. Carney, whom she married on October 4, 1975. Together, they built a loving family and worked side by side in running their family business, Carney's Feed Mill.

Pam was an artist at heart, finding joy in painting and crafting. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching them grow and thrive.

Pam is survived by her husband, John, and their three children: Tim and (Brandy) Carney of Batavia, John C. Carney and (Alex) of New Vienna, and Kathryn Carney of Williamsburg. She was the cherished grandmother of six: Mac Carney, John W. Carney, Olivia Carney, Tanner Stephens, Scarlett Carney, and Ella Carney.

Pam is also survived by her sisters, Ginny Moore of Fayetteville and Lisa Lamadrid of Florida; brothers-in-law Bill and Donna Carney of Williamsburg, Tom and Cathy Carney of Williamsburg; sisters-in-law Teresa (Carney) and Andy Sannes of Batavia, and Patsy (Carney) Sexton of Williamsburg. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Shirley Riley; her brother, Philip Riley; her mother and father-in-law, Tom and Katty Carney; and her sister-in-law.

Pam's legacy of love, dedication, and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in the countless beautiful memories they share and the knowledge that Pam's spirit will always be with them.

Memorial donations can be made in Pam's name to the National MS Society. (Link below)
