Pastor Lenn J. Carmichael

Pastor Lenn J. Carmichael beloved husband of 62 years to Katheryn Willene (nee Estep) Carmichael; loving father of Stephen L. Carmichael and Ruth D. (Scott) Burkhard; cherished grandfather of Daniel (Sarah) Burkhard, Jonathan (Stephanie) Burkhard, Amy Carmichael, Ashley (Nick) Evancho and Abby Carmichael; dear brother-in-law of David (Christine) Estep and the late Danny Estep; uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Andrew and Nancy Pauline (nee Broughton) Carmichael; and brothers, Bill (Genenva), Charles (Bonnie), Paul (Millie), Donald (Lana) and Harold Carmichael. Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 4, 2020. Age 85. Residence Fairfield Township, Hamilton, OH. Pastor Carmichael was a graduate of Lexington Bible College. He pastored four different churches; Emmanuel Baptist Church in Wyandotte, MI, Fernald Calvary Baptist Church in Ross, OH, Oak Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, KY and Joy Baptist Church in Peach Grove, OH. Brother Carmichael was a professor of Greek and Hebrew at Central Baptist Bible College. He was the author of the book "Christ or Antichrist" and a monograph entitled "The Extent Of The Atonement". Pastor Carmichael had a passion for the Lord, evangelism, history and his family. Funeral service will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Landmark Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati. A Celebration of Life service will take place at Montgomery Community Church at a future date.
