Patricia Jane Binning, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on August 20, 1942, in Farnam, Nebraska, Patricia was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.
Pat, an incredibly devoted wife, shared over 65 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Ronald Binning. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter, and their bond was an inspiring example of partnership. She was known for her warm spirit and her ability to connect with everyone she met-truly, she never knew a stranger.
As a homemaker and dedicated farm wife, she always pitched in with farming duties-driving tractors, trucks, and combines. She prepared and delivered meals to the fields, all while caring for her family. Her passion for cooking was legendary, especially her famous cherry pie and pie crust, which delighted family and friends alike.
Pat loved to read, starting with her Harlequin romance paperbacks and later moving on to e-books on her Kindle and from the library. She and Ron loved classic country music. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing with Ron on Saturday nights. She also loved the challenge of games and puzzles, helping to keep her mind sharp.
In addition to her culinary talents, Pat was a trap shooter, a pastime she enjoyed with her husband at Eastern Hills Rod and Gun club, where she not only participated but also took pride in preparing meals for fellow members.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ronald Binning, her daughters, Jacqueline Miller, Jane (John) Colford and Rhonda (Brad) Brackett, her grandchildren, Megan, Braun, Chance, Emma, Ray, and Mason, great-grandchildren, Rory, Landon, Callen, Laura, Aiden, and Liam, as well as her sisters, Sally and Ruth Ann. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elgie and Nina Thompson, her son-in-law Roy Miller, grandson Drew Miller and her sister Betty Hoppe-Stevens.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on December 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Prior to the service, the family will welcome visitors beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Batavia.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an indomitable spirit that will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
