Peggy Eloise Cahill, born on December 9, 1943, in the quaint town of Fondee, KY, peacefully left this world on January 23, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Peggy brought laughter and warmth to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
With a high school diploma in hand, Peggy dedicated over 30 years to the printing industry, working her way up to a managerial position, where she was respected and admired for her hard work and leadership. But her true calling was always found in her home, where she was the glue that held her family together. As the matriarch, Peggy's big heart and sense of humor created a nurturing environment filled with love and joy.
Peggy will be remembered for her love of family gatherings, especially at Christmas, when her home would be filled with laughter, music, and the delightful aroma of home-cooked meals. Her passion for singing would often echo through the halls, bringing smiles to the faces of those around her.
Peggy is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Ann (James) Luecke, and her two sons, Michael Gene (Karin) Miller and Steven Lee (Rebecca) Miller. Grandmother of Kyle Matthew (Elyse) Luecke, Carson Michael Miller, Blake Andrew Miller and Emma Riann Miller. Great grandchildren Mabel Andrea Luecke, Russell Joseph Luecke and sister-in-law Elsie Lovett. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and her legacy of love will forever remain in their hearts.
A funeral service will be held in her honor at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on January 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, following a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her remarkable life, share stories, and keep her memory alive.
Though Peggy has left this earthly realm, her laughter, love, and warm spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Peggy was preceded in death by parents William & Kathleen Lovett, brothers Carmon Lovett, Robert Gene Lovett and sister-in-law Cecil Lovett.
