Peggy Ann Hamilton

Peggy Ann Hamilton passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Christine (Huggins) Hamilton and was preceded in death by her brothers, George, William and Walter "Bud" Hamilton.

Peggy dedicated her life to hard work and serving others. A true animal lover, she found great joy in the companionship of her beloved pug, Sally, and often walked neighborhood dogs with care and devotion.

Faith was central to Peggy's life, and as a longtime member of Hill Station Baptist Church, she found both fellowship and joy as a member of the senior ladies Sunday school class. Though she had no immediate family, Peggy was never alone. She was surrounded by a community that looked out for her, proving that it takes a village. She was deeply grateful for the kindness of those who helped her maintain her independence, especially her dear friend, the late Irmi Joyce.

Miss Peggy will be laid to rest beside her beloved mother, and a graveside interment service will be announced soon. May she rest in peace, knowing she was loved, cared for, and will be remembered by all who knew her.
