Philip Brett Walls

Brett Walls passed away suddenly on September 3, 2023. Brett was a talented musician. Bret loved to camp, fish and relished in the warmth of the sun and was a voracious reader. Brett was also the general manager at Trio Bistro for many years where his outgoing personality and professionalism created both business and personal friendships with many leaders of the Cincinnati community. In early 2014, Brett was stricken with ‘Lock-in-Syndrome” after surviving a brain-stem stroke. His wife Gayle, his fulltime caregiver, never gave up hoping and fighting for a meaningful recovery. In spite of many challenges, they persevered. From his wheelchair, Brett wrote two books with his mouth stylus and tablet. “From the Rolling Chair” and “Wished for Nothing”. Go on and jam in that great campfire in the sky Brett. We will miss you.

Brett is survived by his loving wife Gayle, his children Kyle (Raelee) Gardner and Casey (Lonnie) Jenkins, his grandchildren Jolena, Avery, Hazel and Flynn, his mother Peggy Walls and his sister Lisas Bauman. Brett is preceded in death by his father Phillip and his brother Anthony.
