Preston Christopher Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Preston Christopher Smith, who left us far too soon on March 4, 2025, at the age of 28. Born on August 14, 1996, in Cincinnati, OH, Preston grew up in Milford, where he graduated from Milford High School in 2015, proudly holding onto his loved memories of football games and good times with friends.

Preston was truly one of a kind. A loving son and brother; he is survived by his parents, Kyla Masturzo and Christopher Smith; step - parents Anthony Masturzo and Leah Smith; his siblings Greyson, Roman and Gianna Masturzo; Colin and Carissa Smith; Grandparents: Kathy Crozier, Ronald (Deborah) Glover, Paul (late Linda) Buerkle, Stephen (Linda) Smith, Patricia (late Steve) Sapp and Thomas (Vickie) Masturzo, Eddie (Annette) Castle as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preston's genuine kindness, quick-witted humor, and intelligence made him unforgettable to anyone who crossed his path. Whether he was playing video games or playfully teasing his parents, he had a way of lighting up a room and creating laughter wherever he went.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Preston's life and cherish his memory during a memorial service set for March 15, 2025 at 12:00-2:00 PM for visitation and 2:00-3:00 PM for service at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122. We invite all who knew him to join us in sharing stories, laughter, and love as we honor a truly remarkable young man who touched our lives in so many ways. After the service we will head to a reception at Emmett Ridge Farm located at 1805 Lindale Nicholsville Rd, Amelia, Ohio 45102 to celebrate his life.
