It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Priscilla Jewel Cordell, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on February 27, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on April 3, 1935, in the serene surroundings of McCreary County, Kentucky, Priscilla made her way through life with a kind,sweet spirit and an unforgettable smile that could light up any room.
Priscilla was a trailblazer in her own right. With an associate degree in accounting, she took bold steps to carve her own path in the business world. She was a successful realtor and later created and ran her own business, PJC Temps and Services. She showcased her savvy business acumen and fierce determination.
Family was everything to Priscilla. She cherished her ties with her two daughters, Carroll (Rick) Liming and Edwina "Curly" Cordell, whose close bond was evident to all who knew them. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Jennifer (Jimmy) Wallace, and Jamie Liming and her great grandchildren: Tiffany, Tyler, Ricky, Greg, Sam, Cole, Dallas, Christopher, Michel, Steven, Jacob, Selena, Blake, Tommy and numerous great-great grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her adventurous spirit and sweet nature in their hearts.
When we think of Priscilla, we remember her contagious laughter and her love for travel and exploration. She approached life with a sense of adventure and joy, always eager to discover new places and share wonderful experiences with those she loved.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on March 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM. We will gather to celebrate her life, share memories, and honor the incredible woman she was. Following the visitation, Priscilla will be laid to rest at 2:15 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery located at 687A US-50, Milford, OH.
Priscilla Jewel Cordell's legacy of love, laughter, and tenacity will forever remain in our hearts. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Cordell, and parents Sidney & Edwina Hicks, step-sons Conrad and Dallas Houston Cordell, son Jeff Cordell, sister F. Sue Long and brother James Hicks
