Raymond J. Wagner

Raymond J. Wagner beloved husband of 57 years to Liza (nee McCarty) Wagner; loving father of Robert (Beth) Wagner, Shelia (John) Holton, Vicky Owens, Phyllis (Tom) Mann, Karen (Randy) Garrett and the late Linda Verdi; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; dear brother of James Wagner, Shirley Varner, Vernon Wagner, Betty Scott, and Jane Kelley; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Wagner; and siblings, Maurice Wagner, Norma Wirsch, Rosella Wagner and Phyllis Wagner. Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 19, 2020. Age 98. Residence Goshen Township. Mr. Wagner served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired as a Route Salesman with Exquisite Laundry. Raymond was an awesome husband, father and grandpa. Visitation will be held at the Goshen Church of God, 1675 Hill Station Road, Goshen, OH on Monday August 24th from 10:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11:30 AM at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at Myers Cemetery in Goshen. Evans Funeral Home - Goshen is serving the family.
