Rebecca Botkin

Rebecca "Becky" Botkin, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on August 10, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Becky lived a life full of love, commitment, and community spirit.

She was a devoted mother to her son Jeffrey (Kathy) Botkin and Rhonda (the late Garick) Botkin, and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, the late Erin, Nick, Benjamin, Trinity, and Elise. Becky's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Delilah, Jaxton, and Weston. She was the cherished sister of the late Bev Carroll and the late Joe Carroll, and a beloved aunt to Mickey, Missy, Rebecca, Kristen, and Honey. Becky was the daughter of the late Ben Carroll and the late Lillian Clos, and their kindness deeply influenced her nurturing spirit.

Becky's love for life was evident in her many passions. She found happiness in gardening, planting flowers, and watching butterflies dance in the sunlight. Her joyful heart would often lead her to the local pool, where she cherished sunny days surrounded by friends and family. As a lifelong resident of Fairfax, she was dedicated to her community; she volunteered as an aid in the Mariemont School District and played a key role in helping the city of Fairfax establish a public pool, where families could gather and enjoy each other's company.

For 28 years, Becky served as a crossing guard with the Mariemont Police Department, ensuring the safety of children and families in her neighborhood. Her welcoming smile and unwavering kindness made her a beloved fixture in the community, and she was known for her sociability and friendliness.

Becky's passion for music and concerts filled her life with joy, and she shared many memorable vacations with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. As a wonderful cook, she filled homes with warmth through her meals, making every gathering special.

A funeral service will be held on June 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life. Prior to the service, visitors are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Becky will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio, where she will find her final repose next to her beloved husband and soulmate, Roy Botkin.

She will be profoundly missed but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
