Rene Kennedy

René Christine Kennedy (nee Scalise), loving wife to Patrick Kennedy from 1977 to 2006, devoted mother of Nicole Kennedy (Ryan Gaskill) and Joseph Kennedy, adoring grandmother of Claire and Emily Orozco, dear sister of Sandra Fetick, beloved friend of Paul Hawthorne, passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 65. René was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Joseph Scalise. She loved gardening, hiking, jazz, and collecting shells along the beach. She was a kind and beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received at a visitation on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10 am – 12 pm at Eastgate Community Church, 3235 Omni Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in René’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity close to René’s heart.
