Reverend Stephen Chasteen Veatch Jr. went to be with the Lord, January 16, 2017 at the Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital, in Knoxville, TN. He was born January 15, 1937 in Cincinnati the son of Stephen C. and Sally Corman Veatch Sr. Reverend Veatch pastored 5 churhes over the years including Sycamore Baptist Church in Jackson, Michigan; New Testament Baptist Church in Pershing, Indiana, Loveland Park Baptist Church in Loveland, Ohio; Forest Park Baptist Church and Grant's Creek Baptist Church in East Enterprise, Indiana. He retired in 2008 to Dandridge, Tennessee. In 1955 he married his wife of 61 years, Donna L. Patton Veatch, who survives along with his children and spouses; Deborah & Chris Saylor, Stephanie & Roy Smith Jr., Barbara Lee and Shelley Dark, 10 grandchildren; Jonathan (Stephanie) Saylor, Roy (Angela) Smith III, Chasteena (Casey) Marando, Steven, Spencer, and Skylar (Carly) Lee, Jacolyn, Alvin, Savannah and Shane-Paul Dark; 11 great-grandchildren: Ellyse and Jacob Saylor, Audrey, Levi, Luke and Roy Smith IV, Ayden Marando, Zoey Marando-Romein, Annabel Lee, Sailor Redding, Ava-Grace Dark, He was preceded in death by his parents and a son; Stephen Timothy "Tim" Veatch. Services will be 11:00AM Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Loveland Park Baptist Church, 2288 Lilac Rd, Loveland, Oh 45140 with a short visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Revered Bill Webb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Miami Township. Family and friends may also call 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 19th, at the church. Evans Funeral Home in Milford is serving the family.
