Reverend William G. Webb Sr.

Today we are celebrating the life of William Gene Webb born Feb 9, 1937 in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Cecil E. Webb and Omega Webb (Sibley). He went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021. He leaves behind two brothers Ronnie Webb (Linda) and Cecil Webb Jr. Two sisters, Juanda Webb and Sherri Lambert (Sidney). One sister, Susie Bell Bruce, preceded him in death.
On March 4, 1961 he married Nora Ellen Howard. The Lord blessed this marriage with two devoted sons William Gene Webb Jr. (Rose) and Jonathan Howard Webb and a cherished daughter Elizabeth Carol Kramer (Scott). He leaves behind two grandsons and four granddaughters: Amy Webb, Daniel Webb, Amanda Bartlett (Christopher), Tau Webb, Michelle Kramer and Isabelle Kramer. Two great-grandchildren Garcie Gene Webb and Tinsley Kate Bartlett.
Pastor Webb is an U. S. Army Veteran during the Korea Conflict, His ministry has covered many places over his lifetime including 7 years at the Cozaddale Baptist Church and over 30 years at the Woodville Baptist Church. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Woodville Baptist Church in Wayne Township with visitation on Friday, August 20th, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Woodville Cemetery with military honors provided by the Southwest Memorial Team. His family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Bearing Precious Seed, 1369 Woodville Pike, Milford, Ohio 45150.
