Richard Frank Bose

Richard Frank Bose age 73, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Norwood, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born May 2, 1945 in Cincinnati the son of Eugene and Marie (nee Endez) Bose. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam Era. On November 4, 1966 he married Maaike (nee Mineer) Bose. Richard retired from the Merrill Dow Co. as an electrician after 35 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #450 in Milford. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maaike, their children; Debra Bose, Jodi Bose, Richard Frank (Damian) Bose II, grandchildren; Jorden & Jodi Cunningham, Isaiah Berry, Malia Gates, Avery & Addison Bose, great-grandchildren; Zara, Noah, Raya, Amara and siblings; John Bose, Carol Allen and Patty Harris. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings; Barbara & Eugene Bose Jr. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford with visitation from 9:30 until the time of service/. Deacon Tim Schutte will officiate. Burial with military honors, provided by SouthWest Ohio VFW Memorial Team will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. His family request memorial in his memory to American Legion Post #450, 111 Victor Stier Dr., Milford, OH 45150.
