Richard A. Brewer beloved husband of 64 years to Jean (nee Sandlin) Brewer; loving father of Kathy (Terry) Bernard and Leisha Burnside; grandfather of Rachel Olson, Peter Mark "Boomer" Murphy II and Kayla Noyes; great grandfather of Christa Fields, Samantha Fields, Tristen Bare, Kacey Jay Olson, Ethan John Olson, Ezra Jace Noyes; great great grandfather of Carson Binder, Cameron Jarrell and Olivia Carter; dear brother of Nellie Arnett and the late Shirley Wellbaum; and many nieces and nephews. Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 24, 2016. Age 86. Residence Fairfax. Mr. Brewer was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict, was a clerk for the US Postal Service, taught Sunday School classes for 60 years and was instrumental in the deaf ministry. Visitation will be Friday September 30th at Fellowship Baptist Church, 9431 Shelly Lane, Montgomery, OH 45242 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral sevice at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Fellowship Baptist Church at the above address.
