Richard L. Callahan

Richard L. Callahan age 77, of Batavia, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Madeira Health Care Center. He was born May 28, 1938 in Cincinnati the son of Leon B. and Marie Angst Callahan. He retired from the Kirk & Bloom Sheet Metal Company. He was preceed in death by his wife on December 16, 2015, his sons, Mark & Michael Callahan, sister Pat Callahan, sisters-in-laws; Marilyn Simons, Cathy Blanchard, Dolores McClanahan, half sister-in-law and spouse; Alice and Slim Mell, brothers-in-law and spouse; Harry and Donna Simons and Charles Simons. He is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe and Sandy Simons, Alfreida Simons and Jerry Blanchard, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00AM Monday December 21, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28 in Goshen 45122. Reverend Michael Cordier will conduct the Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal. Burial will take place at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Anderson Township. Family and friends may visit 10:30 until the time of service on Monday.
