Richard Christman

Richard Gene Christman, beloved husband of Judy Hirschbach Christman, devoted father of Trisha Christman, Cynthia (Dave) Minear, Robin Dillion, Richard (Tina) Fitzgerrel, Jerry (Fay) Fitzgerrel, Perry (Ruth) Fitzgerrel and the late Cynthia Decker, loving grandfather of 15, great-grandfather of 16, brother of the late Ina Binkley, the late Mary Purdy, the late Robert Christman, the late James Christman and the late William Christman, dear brother-in-law of Betty Christman and Charlotte Christman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Richard was a 35-year member of the Goshen Masonic Lodge #119 where he served as the Lodge Education Officer from 1990-1992, District Lodge Education Officer from 1992-1994, a District Deputy Grand Master from 1994 thru 1997 and was the Lodge Treasurer for 20 years. He was also a longtime member of the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church. Richard passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the age of 78. Family will receive friends at the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church, 10198 State Route 132, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162, on Friday, November 24th from 10 AM until time of masonic and funeral services beginning at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church, the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Heart Association.
