Richard Speer Fulmer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Speer Fulmer, a loving husband, father, and friend, who left this world peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on October 15, 1933, in Lopatcong, NJ, Richard lived a life filled with love, laughter, and rich memories.

Richard dedicated many years of his life to being a skilled toolmaker at General Electric, where his craftsmanship and attention to detail earned him deep respect among his colleagues. However, it was not just in his work that he showcased his passion; Richard's heart belonged to his family and the joys that life brought him.

Married for an incredible 71 years, Richard was the devoted husband to his late beloved wife, who passed just 26 days ago. Together, they built a life that was full of adventures, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. As a proud father, he leaves behind his son, Richard Fulmer, brother Cliff Fulmer and many nieces and nephews.

A true Cincinnati Bengals fan, Richard could often be found cheering for his team, relishing every touchdown with childlike excitement. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending a day fishing and camping with his family in his younger years or testing his luck at the casinos. Those who knew him will remember the warmth of his smile and the twinkle in his eye as he shared stories of a life well lived.

Celebration of Life service 2 PM Friday January 3, 2025 at Graceland Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5989 Deerfield Rd. Milford, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of choice, a fitting tribute to a man who gave so much to those around him. Richard's spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, dear Richard; you will be greatly missed but forever cherished.

Richard was preceded in death by wife Grace Fulmer parents Clifford & Eva (Stubblebine) Fulmer, daughter Joyce Elaine Fulmer brother William Fulmer, and sisters Helen Lucas and Eva Jeanette Fulmer.
