Richard J. Karl

Richard J. Karl "Rick", lost his yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer on November 24, 2019 at the age of 61.

He was a graduate of McNicholas High School and Miami University. He was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity while at Miami. Rick worked for Cincinnati Financial Corporation for 35 years as an Applications Architect. He took an early retirement in 2016. Rick was a loyal Cincinnati Bengals fan until the very end. He and his wife were longtime season ticket holders. Rick enjoyed traveling and visiting wineries. He had a passion for collecting items and often referred to his home as a "collection of collections". Cincinnati Bengals memorabilia and Breweriana were two of his favorites.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis A. Karl and Helen D. Karl Haberer (Snyder). He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Jill (Euteneuer), his mother and father in laws, Florian and Shirley Euteneuer, many wonderful friends and his precious pets.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, on Saturday, January 11th from 1 PM until a celebration of life service is held beginning at 2:30 PM.
