Richard enjoyed playing golf. During his years in Florida, he found solace in fishing off the pier and relished in the thrill of reeling in a big catch. In his youth, he enjoyed bowling and embraced the competitive spirit it instilled in him.
A hardworking individual, Richard never shied away from putting in his best effort, showing his unwavering commitment by never missing a day of work. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs, his dedication to the team unwavering throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Loomis, children Richard, Cheryl and Annie, grandchildren Amanda and Jeremy and great-grandchildren Ella and Evertt.
