Richard Gordon Sturgis, beloved husband of Daneen Akers Sturgis, devoted father of Cheri Contario, Timothy Sturgis and Anna Sturgis, loving grandfather of Eric Sturgis, Joseph Sturgis, Christen Contario, Cameron Contario, Cainan Miles and Lakha Miles, brother of the late Robert Tabor. Passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Monday, May 23rd from 10 AM until time of services beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
