Rita A. Hollweck

HOLLWECK, Rita A (nee Hummel) - Passed away in the early hours on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Rita, the beloved wife of the late Victory Peace Hollweck, celebrated her 100th birthday on July 25th. She leaves behind two daughters, Patricia (Hollweck) Arnett and Cheryl Hollweck and one son, John Hollweck. She was also the mother of the late Bonnie (Hollweck) Freeman. Rita led a prolific life and left behind 13 grandchildren (1 deceased), 25 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. She was a product of the "greatest generation" and lived through both the Great Depression and World War II. She was a strong-minded, strong-willed, no-nonsense, gutsy woman who never left a doubt as to her opinion about a myriad of topics. She made numerous friends throughout her life and will be greatly missed by many people. Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio Tuesday September 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of Blessing Service at 11:00 AM; Burial to follow service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
