Brookens, Robert S. Sr., beloved husband of Patricia Trinder Brookens, devoted father of Robert Brookens Jr (Caroline) and Michelle Brookens Brumagen, loving grandfather of Connor Brumagen (Meagan Klingshirn), Kaycee Brumagen, Angelina and Olivia Brookens, dear son of Marie Heck Brookens and the late Sterling Brookens, caring brother of Judy Royce (Doug) and the late Larry Brookens. Bob was involved in the Boy Scouts, Men of Seton, Knights of Columbus Chapter 10003, St. Eliz. Seton Bingo and was a Lector for St. Eliz. Seton Ch. He loved playing golf, taking pictures and using his smoker. He passed away, Saturday, December 29, 2018, residence Miami Township. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Friday, January 4, 10:30 AM, visitation Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Thursday, 6 - 8, with Military Honors provided by the Southwest Ohio VFW Memorial Team at 8 PM.
