Robert William Huxell, Sr.

HUXELL, ROBERT WILLIAM - Dearest partner of Linda Connor. Devoted father of Victoria L. Huxell, Robert W. (Stacy) Huxell Jr., Tamara L. (Bruce) McClintock, and Timothy P. (Pamela) Huxell; Loving grandfather of Joshua (Hillary) Connolly, Jourdan (Evan) Butler, Anthony Badagliacco, Finnegan (Hayley) Huxell, Callahan Huxell, Brittany (Travis) Laffitte, Victoria (Tyler) Aki, Alexandra McClintock, Taylor Huxell (Kyle Brumit), Zachary Huxell, Great grandfather of Jaxson Alexander, Talulah Connolly, Emmerson Butler, Maverick Butler, Harper Laffitte, Remi Laffitte, Savannah Brumit, Emalynn Brumit,; Dear sister Sally Stemmerding, the late Jerry Huxell, and the late William J. Huxell Jr.;

Bob was born in 1941 and was raised in Madisonville. He attended and served as an altar boy at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Bob graduated from Purcell High School in 1959 and joined the United States Marine Corp shortly thereafter. Not one to be tethered to single locale, after his service was complete, Bob took to the road as a salesman. St. Louis, Chicago, and Jacksonville, called his name. A career shift to property management took Bob and his family out west to Colorado in 1975. Although, he would continue his travels and ultimately retire back in Cincinnati, Colorado always pulled on Bob’s heart strings. Bob enjoyed reading, sailing, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports, but it was golf that he loved playing the most. In retirement, Bob faithfully attended monthly Cavalier class of ’59 luncheons and served as an officer in the Blue Ash American Legion Northeast Post 630. Bob's faithfulness to Linda and her family was a treasure to the love they had for one another.

Bob passed away Saturday July 29, 2023, Age 82, Resident of Union Township.

Memorial Mass will be at St. Stephen Church 3804 Eastern Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45226 Saturday September 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Inurnment at Graceland Memorial Gardens will be at 2:00 PM with military honors. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 4540 Cooper Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
