Robert F. Martin

Robert Frederick Martin (83) Passed January 30, 2022. Bob was born on September 20, 1938 in Cincinnati, Oh. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Helen Dehner of St. Bernard, OH. Bob graduated from Central High School which is now the current Cincinnati State College. After high school he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Henderson, NV. On July 1, 1961, he married the former Shirley (Shirl) Lee Newbrey who survives. This past summer they celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage celebrating with family and friends. To this union Bob and Shirl have two sons, Charles (Theresa) Martin of Maineville and Thomas Martin of Goshen. Bob and Shirl were blessed with three grandchildren, twins Eric Martin and Chelsea (Bryce) Clary, and Daniel Martin along with three great-grandchildren James Martin and twins Brantley and Weston Clary. Bob loved his Cincinnati Bengals along with the Cincinnati Reds. He would be so excited to see the Bengals going to the Super Bowl again. Bob was crazy over his dogs Chloe and Sam. They are going to really miss him especially Chloe as she liked to be hand fed by him all the time. Visitation noon - 1 PM Tuesday February 8th with funeral at 1 PM. All at Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, Ohio. Burial with military honors to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
