Robert George Miller

MILLER, Robert George - Mr. Miller, longtime Cincinnati resident, passed away January 13, 2021 at 84 years of age. He is survived by his children, Lori Howell, Lynda (Gary) Shawver, and Michael (Leah) Miller; dear grandfather of Misty (Ben) Deatsman, Michael David Howell, Michael Miller Jr., and Mason Miller; great-grandfather of Kellan Deatsman. Preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Albert Miller, sister Lois (Ted) Bruin and granddaughter Cheyanne Miller.

Bob served in the United States Army and upon his return secured a job with McAlpin's as the assistant buyer in the men's department. He eventually became the store manager of the Kenwood McAlpin's, one of the most successful stores in the company. He retired early and enjoyed fishing with his best friend, Wayne Bollman, travelling, smooth jazz concerts, and fine dining. On July 3, 2005, Bob accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was finishing his fourth reading of the Bible when the Lord called him home.

A memorial service will be held at John H. Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street Milford, OH 45150 on Friday January 29, 2021. The visitation begins at 4:00PM with the service to follow at 5:00PM. All are welcome.
