It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Allen Palmer Sr., who left us on March 22, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on June 24, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert lived a life full of passion and camaraderie, touching the hearts of those who knew him.
Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, where he faced challenges with the bravery of a true fighter. He was a fixture at the Day Heights Fire Department during his youth, where many of his fondest memories were made, surrounded by friends and a vibrant community. He had a deep love for all things automotive and was an avid NASCAR fan, bringing his energy and enthusiasm to every race day.
He was a devoted family man, leaving behind his beloved sons, Kyle and Robert, and grandchild, Jackson. Robert held a special place in his heart for his mother, Catherine, brother Mike, and sister-in-law Carrie. He was proud of his family and cherished every moment spent together, often with his two lovable Boxers, Jacks and Whiskey, by his side.
Robert was also a green thumb, reveling in his collection of house plants that filled his home with warmth and life. He found joy in nurturing them, much like he did with his relationships.
A celebration of Robert's life will take place at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. Visitation will be held on March 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories, laughter, and stories that honor the vibrant life Robert lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to any local animal shelter or a veterans' service organization, reflecting Robert's deep love for animals and his commitment to those who served.
Though he may no longer be with us, Robert's spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Robert. You will be missed.
