Robert Milton Whitney

Robert Milton Whitney age 94, passed away Monday March 28, 2022. Beloved husband of 67 years to the late Dorothy Ann (Estell) Whitney; cherished father of Donna (Christopher) Whitney, Donald (Kim) Whitney and Daniel (Mary) Whitney; treasured grandfather of Douglas (Stephanie) Whitney and Roenick Whitney; special great grandfather of Isaac and Lucas Whitney; dear brother of Phyllis Whitney, the late June (late Blaine) Lakes, the late Gerald (late Janet) Whitney; dear brother-in-law to numerous family members of the Estell family, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews from the Whitney and Estell families. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma Whitney. Robert was a resident of Goshen and an Army Veteran. He owned a Service Station in Milford (Bob and Jerry's) for many years. Baseball and softball were his passion. Robert and his brother managed a Milford Sunday Night Softball Team (Bob and Jerry's) for 30 years. He will be truly missed by family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St Rt 28, Goshen, OH on Wednesday March 30th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service 10:00 AM on Thursday March 31st at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio.
