Robyn Pamela Birzer

May 12, 2002 — December 2, 2022

Robyn Pamela Birzer was born on May 12, 2002 to Gary A. Birzer and the late Amy B. Birzer (Nee Tyra). Dear sister to Nathan Birzer and Dante; Cherished granddaughter of Gary and Margaret Birzer, Nana and Tom, and Sue and Brent Walters; Great-Granddaughter to Carvel Sevart; Niece to Jaime (Jeff) Taylor and Alex (Bonnie) Birzer. Robyn is survived by four cousins, numerous relatives, friends, and her soccer family.

Robyn left this world unexpectedly on December 2, 2022 at the age of 20 years old. Resident of Blanchester, Ohio. A visitation will be held on December 13, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home – 1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow starting at 2:00 PM.

Robyn’s love of life was undeniable. We will always remember her infectious smile and caring personality. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family, with an empathetic and gentle, but huge, heart. She had a passion for many things throughout her short time here on this earth. She loved to ice skate and skated competitively at a very young age. She was on a dance team for many years and was one of the best players on a select soccer team. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious and full of life and enjoyed all the wonders of this world through her love of travel. She never slowed down. She loved hiking and reading and photography. She might have been small, just a tiny thing, but she was mighty. She was quirky, spunky, feisty, with so much energy. When she entered a room, it lit it up with fireworks, from a very young age to her last breath. She was the most kind, empathetic, loving, generous human being. She adored all furry creatures and always had one or two or three in her care. Robyn loved and adored children, they were her world. She worked at the YMCA and The Children’s Academy caring for the children there, and had a big heart for those with special needs. Robyn wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life. She was the comedic relief for so many and brought joy and laughter everywhere she went. Those who had the pleasure to spend time with her got to see the genuine, honest, passionate, selfless person who was unapologetically Robyn. It would be impossible to completely describe this amazing girl. She was only 20 years old, but she touched so many lives in the short time that God let her be on this earth with us.

Someone said it best: “What’s important is not the years in your life, but the life in your years”.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. When you think of Robyn, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Because she did just that. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
