Roger H. Radloff

August 23, 1939 — February 6, 2023

Roger H. Radloff, 83, of Milford, Ohio passed away on February 6, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Roger was born on August 23, 1939 to Clarence E. Radloff and Marie M. Radloff, who preceded him in death. Roger was the beloved husband of Patricia A. Radloff for 32 years, and loving father of Susan Wieser (Michael), Jeffrey Radloff (Kelli), and Donna Burns (Timothy). Roger is survived by his sister Mary Hack (Richard), cherished grandchildren Diana Vila (Jeremy), John Wieser, Rebekah Radloff, Luke Radloff, Joshua Radloff, Elijah Radloff, Elizabeth Radloff, Lydia Burns, Noah Burns; and precious great-granddaughters Corinne Vila and Celeste Vila. Roger was preceded in death by his sister Jeanette Wiesenhahn and his brother Donald Radloff.



After graduating from Purcell High School in 1957, Roger enlisted in the Air Force where he served for four years in Crete, Greece when he was Honorably discharged in May of 1961. Throughout the years he enjoyed sharing his stories, keepsakes and photos from his time in Greece with family and friends. Following his return to the US, Roger began working at LeBlond Machine Tool Company while taking night classes at Ohio Mechanics Institute. He received his Certificate of Technology in Mechanical Design Technology from OMI and continued to take coursework throughout his career. He secured a position at General Electric where he worked for 34 years in Development Engine Testing and advanced to the position of Cell Owner of the Marine and Industrial Program, a position he held until his retirement in the fall of 1999.



Roger appreciated being outdoors. He instilled a love of camping in his children as they took many summer vacations together to state and national parks where they enjoyed sightseeing and hiking. Roger enjoyed game and card playing with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. After retirement, Roger continued to travel with Patty within the country and abroad. Roger also began collecting and restoring antique radios and joined the Cincinnati Antique Radio Society where he met fellow collectors, many of whom became good friends.



Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford on Saturday, February 11 from 9-11 AM with a service at 11:00. Chapel service with Military Honors to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park
