Ronald Moore Grove, a man who was known for his green thumb, his passion for college sports, and his dedicated work at Ford Motor Company for over four decades, passed away on November 19, 2024, at his home in Goshen, OH at the age of 86. Born in Ohio on December 18, 1937, Ron, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed spending time in his garden and tending to his yard, finding solace in the beauty of nature.
Ron had a lifelong love for college football and basketball, as well as a fervent support for Manchester United Soccer and rugby. His dedication to his work at Ford was unparalleled, putting in long hours and overtime for 44 years. Despite his busy work schedule, Ron always found time to relax and unwind, often vacationing in Pigeons Forge, Tennessee, and indulging in the thrill of the casino.
Ron was the beloved husband of the late Katherine Grove; Loving father of Kevin(Terri) Grove, Rhonda (Chris) Losekamp and Doug (Kim Lafon) Grove. Grandchildren: Tori, Tyler, Tiffany and Chelsea. Great-grandchildren: Bentley, Declean, Gabriel, Gavin, Kathrine, Garrett and Elli; Brother David Grove. He is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Elizabeth Grove, son Michael Grove, sister Evelyn Flynn and brothers Larry and Richard Grove. His friends and family will fondly remember his love for sports, his hard work ethic, and his adventurous spirit. A Funeral Service in honor of Ron's life will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on November 25, 2024, at 11:00 am, with a Visitation preceding at 10:00 am.
Ron's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature he cherished so much.
