Ronald Gene Statz

Ronald G. Statz, 88, of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Ron was the son of Carl G. and Marion Statz. He moved to Milford following his retirement from a successful business career in the manufacturing industry.

Ron graduated from Bosse High School and Evansville College in Evansville, Indiana. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a pilot in the early days of the Strategic Air Command. Following his retirement, Ron enjoyed being a member of the Milford First United Methodist Church. The years of his retirement included his love of golf and traveling domestically and abroad with family and long-time friends. Ron's love of his family was felt by everyone whether on family vacations, holiday gatherings or individual moments.

Ron is survived by his children Dana Henning (Mark) of Roswell, GA; Christopher Statz (Anne) of Cleveland, OH; Lisa Bieber (David) of Milford, Ohio and Brian Statz (Holly) of Fishers, IN. He was the beloved Papa to eleven grandchildren - Eric and Trevor Fraske, Andrew and Taylor Henning, Caroline and Lauren Statz, Olivia and Anna Bieber and Will, Collin and Joey Statz.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife of forty years, Marcia (nee Stalder), daughter Leslie Fraske, parents Carl and Marion Statz and brother Robert Statz.

Friends may call on Friday, June 4th from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at John H. Evans Funeral Home at 741 Center Street in Milford, Ohio. The service celebrating Ron's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will follow on Saturday, June 5th at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
