Ronnie D. Reese

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ronnie Dean Reese, on December 2, 2025, at the age of 66. Ronnie was born in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Fleak) Reese.

Ronnie dedicated his life to creating a nurturing environment for his loved ones. His family meant the world to him, and he was known as a safe haven for his nieces and nephews, treating them with an abundance of love and kindness. He embraced the role of "Papaw" with pride and joy, effortlessly earning the title of "Best Papaw in the World."

Ronnie was a man of notable humor and warmth, often affectionately referred to as "Monica" by those close to him due to his need for cleanliness and organization. Known for his lighthearted jokes and pranks, he had an extraordinary ability to illuminate any room he entered. His selflessness was evident in the way he always prioritized helping others.

In his free time, Ronnie found immense joy in the outdoors. Gardening, landscaping, and caring for his cherished turkeys and chickens were not just hobbies but passions that brought him great happiness. He took pride in nurturing his flower beds, tending to his garden, mowing, amongst many other things, finding peace and contentment in the simple pleasures of life.

Ronnie was the beloved husband of 8 years to Terri Reese; Loving father of Shaun (Jenna) Reese, Jessica (Keith) Cummings, Ashley Reuss, Ben (Sarah) Harrison, and Tuesday (Justin) Harrison; Cherished papaw of Dillion, Bailey, and Emerson Cummings; Aurora and Anthony Reuss; Carson, Landon, Summer, and Joey Rankin; Ben, Chloe (Logan), Taurus (Zack) Harrison, and Kane Corley; Great grandpa of 3; Dear brother of Doug (Patsy) Reese, Tonya (Charlie) Manning, Phyllis (Mike) Crawford, and Nancy Christie.

Along with his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his siblings Chuck Reese, Jo Donaldson, Mary Hedger, and Peggy Havens.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen, Ohio. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the service at 12:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor Ronnie's extraordinary life and to share in the cherished memories that continue to bind them.
