Russell L. Jones Russell Lee Jones of Goshen, OH beloved husband of Lorene (Harrison) Jones died peacefully in his home on Monday July 11, 2022 at the age of 83. Russell is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lorene (Harrison) Jones; his children Gary (Debi) Jones, Victoria (Doug) Roberts, Patricia (Vinnie) Simpson; grandchildren Andrew (Stephanie) Cromer, Jacob Jones, Nathan (Emily) Cromer, Alex Cromer, Rachel (Tanner) Hall; great-grandchildren Cole and Sophia Cromer, Bentlee Jones, Hayden and Josiah Cromer, and LeAnn, Laura and Carly Hall. Russell is also survived by his siblings Rissie (Carl) Wagner, Ina (Norman) Carpenter, Charles (Marcia) Jones, and Vern (Cassandra) Jones, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Anna Mae (Pittman) Jones; his siblings Norma Bustle, Carma Renner, Vesti Kirby, Roy Jones Jr., Irene Sands, and Lemuel Pittman. Russell was born to the late, Roy and Anna Mae (Pittman) Jones on January 22, 1939. He was married to his wife on February 13, 1959, and they made a beautiful life together with their 3 children. He loved to spend time working out in his garden and if you didn’t find him there you would find him in his room watching Nascar or a western. However, his most favorite thing and what brought him the most joy was spending time with his kids and grandchildren. His family was always the most important part of his life, and he was always his happiest when he got to spend time and make memories with them. The family will receive family and friends at a visitation on Wednesday July 13th from 5-7p.m. with the funeral following at Cozaddale Baptist Temple, 10632 Eltzroth Road Goshen, OH 45122. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday July 14th at 11a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike Cincinnati, OH 45246.
